Terms and Conditions for use of the Organisation of Energy Assessors’ website

In these Terms and Conditions we, our or us refers to the Organisation of Energy Assessors (the “OEA”)

1. Acceptance of Terms

1.1 By accessing www.theoea.org (the website) you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and accept our Privacy Policy set out elsewhere on the website. If you do not accept these terms you should not use the services offered on the website and should leave immediately.

4.1 OEA will be responsible to you for direct loss you suffer as a result of OEA breaching these conditions once a contract for sale has been formed.

7. OEA Members Forums

7.1 Users of the Website are offered the opportunity of participating in a members forum and posting news, comments and other content to message boards. These services enable users to interact easily with our steering group and other member visitors to the site about issues relating to energy assessment in the built environment.

7.2 OEA reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to reject, refuse to post or remove any posting (including private messages) by you, or to deny, restrict, suspend, or terminate your access to all or any

part of the OEA Forum at any time, for any or no reason, with or without prior notice or explanation, and without liability.

8. Content

You agree not to post any abusive, obscene, vulgar, slanderous, hateful, threatening, sexually-oriented or any other material that may violate any applicable laws. Doing so may lead to you being immediately and permanently banned (and your service provider being informed). The IP address of all posts is recorded to aid in enforcing these conditions. The webmaster, administrator and moderators of this forum do not carry out any monitoring of content posted on the Website but you agree that they or any of them have the right to remove, edit, move or close any topic at any time should they see fit. As a user you agree to any information you have entered being stored in a database.
